"Monet" derives from my middle name, Monée, which is French inspired. The French painter, Claude Monet, was someone who I appreciated in grade school as his last name is pronounced like my middle name. I was further inspired by both Monet and Vincent van Gogh's oil paintings which helped guide me to create watercolor paintings; a simplistic yet profound painting style. The basis of my creativity is profound simplicity with an understanding that a little can go a long way.

My decorating style is vintage eclectic, modern, bohemian, and a bit of glam too. There are so many ways to design and/or organize a space (i.e., weddings, commercial properties, venues) and my focus is on quality and textures that balance color, as well as maximizing given space. 

I am grounded and enjoy bringing elements of earth inward. Speaking of being grounded, I am also a Psychotherapist who is an active listener of goal setters! I believe that a "de-cluttered space is a de-cluttered mind" and value how the artistry of designing allows us to enjoy places we spend time in.
